Presentation on Cooperative International Wireless Standardization during an invitation-only meeting entitled Spanning the Spectrum of Communications Policy. The meeting was part of the Roundtable on Multimedia and Telecommunications series held by the European Institute. Approximately 60 people attended. The meeting was described in the Fall 1999 edition of the Institute's newsletter Europe in Washington. Other speakers included Susan Ness (Commissioner, U.S. Federal Communications Commission), David Hendon (Chairman of the Board, European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)), and Dr. Bernd Eylert (Chairman, Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Forum).
